Daniela Mattson is a multimedia journalist currently based in Los Angeles. She is in her second year studying Journalism and Documentary at the University of Southern California.

Her reporting has been published in The Seattle Times, USC Annenberg Media, and The Daily Trojan. She is currently working as a Segment Editor for USC Impact, an award-winning documentary series.

As a latina journalist, Daniela prioritizes diverse voices in her reporting and cares deeply about giving a voice to marginalized communities. With experience in print, digital, graphic design, broadcast, and more, Daniela strives to leverage storytelling as a tool for raising awareness, elevating a brand’s vision, and using multimedia skills to communicate with audiences.
